"Clown from Slipknot was on the hotLine yesterday with Lou (I got to say hello, too!) and it was cool catching up with him. We caught him while he was shopping for tables for his storage area, since in Iowa, there's been all kinds of horrible weather and water problems. He is getting ready for a flood warning and doesn't want to lose any equipment, artwork, memorablia and other stuff he has in storage. So he has to get everything off the floor! Hope the waters recede for him and everyone else in IA and WI! Anyhow, from what we can glean from the chat, rehearsals begin on Monday, and Shawn is heading out today for a short tour with his other band, Dirty Little Rabbits, who are opening for Mindless Self Indulgence. He said it looks like DLR have signed to The End label, home of MSI. When asked about the production for the 'Knot tour, he told us they are talking about getting back to basics, like they were on their first tour, but with new outfits and masks. And no, those "death masks" that you've seen on the website are NOT the new masks. They were actually used in the band's video for "Vermillion" originally. And Clown, who is the artistic director for the band, decided to use them for visual enhancement and keep things interesting. It certainly had a lot of us wondering, that's for sure! Anyhow, the metal track (which is the title track) comes out this weekend, so be sure to keep and eye on the websites, and the radio track is coming on the 30th, which Clown says has "gang vocals" in it. I am going to get a listen to select songs on the record next week and I can NOT wait...."
So, it looks like the title of the new Album will be "All Hope is Gone." Until it's not confirmed by slipknot1.com, we leave the choice to you to believe it or not.
